Two men freed from Qld truck crash

Rescuers have completed a marathon effort to free two men from a truck that rolled on the Sunshine Coast, cutting the Bruce Highway in both directions.
The crash at Palmview left a man in his 20s with pelvic injuries. The second man, aged in his 30s, has pelvic and leg injuries.
The ambulance service said it took two and a half hours to extract the men from the shattered truck, which disintegrated on impact.

Northbound lanes of the highway have reopened, but southbound lanes remain closed.
