Qld Hall of Fame greyhound trainer banned

A one-time Queensland Greyhound Hall of Fame member has become the 22nd trainer to be banned from the sport in the state.

Ron Ball was on Tuesday warned-off by the Queensland All Codes Racing Industry Board and stripped of his Hall of Fame credit.

He had failed to prove he was a "desirable individual" to have at the state's racecourses after being issued with a show cause notice, QACRIB said in a statement.
