Qld greyhound trainer wants dogs back

A judge has retired to consider whether a prominent Queensland greyhound trainer banned from racecourses over the live baiting scandal was denied natural justice.

Former United Queensland Greyhounds Association president Deborah Arnold had her greyhounds seized after a Racing Queensland investigation found she used live baits once and failed to report other trainers she'd seen using live baits.

Ms Arnold challenged Racing Queensland's actions in a Brisbane Supreme Court hearing on Friday, with Justice Jean Dalton expected to deliver a decision on a future date.
