Qld govt rolls out free parenting program

Queensland families will be given free access to a world-renowned parenting advice program thanks to new state budget funding.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has allocated $6.6 million in next week's budget to allow parents to take part in the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, created by the University of Queensland.

"We want to building strong families, we want to build strong communities and the PPP parenting program has the opportunity to help," she said.
