Queensland's newly re-established Sentencing Council will look at possible changes to the way the state's legal system deals with child porn offences.

Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath says the state's justice system currently requires every image and video to be viewed, which takes up significant resources and time.

"We want to identify the children exploited through these images and remove them from potential future harm as quickly as possible," she said.
