Queensland greyhound trainer Tom Noble is facing additional charges as a result of the live-baiting scandal.

The 68-year-old was originally charged with serious animal cruelty, but faced the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday morning on one count of breaching a duty of care to animals and two counts of "keeping or using kill or lure for blooding or coursing".

Noble, who is on bail and has also been banned from racetracks for life, will reappear in court on his new charges on August 10, and then again on his original charges on August 19.
