Qld fire crews battle two large grassfires

Fifteen fire crews are battling to contain two large grassfires burning in a central Queensland town.

Heavy machinery is being used to construct containment lines for the fires burning near Razorback and Nine Mile Creek at Mount Morgan, near Rockhampton.

A large smoke haze is impacting nearby residents, but there is no threat to homes.
