Qld driver threatens woman with gun

A man has been charged after threatening a female driver with a handgun during a road rage incident on the Gold Coast.

The 25-year-old Labrador man was spotted by the woman driving erratically through Ashmore and Arundel about 8am, police say.

She took a photo of the car at a set of traffic lights before he threatened her with a gun.

Dangerous drugs, a handgun and a shotgun were allegedly found following a search of the man's car and a nearby house where he was arrested.

He will face Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
