Police have charged a Queensland man after he allegedly crashed into a parked car while drink driving at more than six times the alcohol limit on Saturday.

The 34-year-old Ormeau man was driving through Waterford West, south of Brisbane, when he crashed into a parked car and then a tree.

He will appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on August 18 to face a charge of driving under the influence of liquor after blowing a breath alcohol reading of .306 per cent.
