AAP
A Brisbane company has been fined $10,000 for destroying mangroves to clear space for a building site.
The company had approval to clear 260 square metres of mangroves at Pinkenba, but instead cleared more than three times that area of marine habitat.
It was fined and ordered to perform restoration work on the site.
