Qld cyclist critical after struck by car

A cyclist is fighting for his life after being hit by a car exiting a driveway on Brisbane's northside.

Police say the cyclist, aged in his 50s, was riding along a footpath at Gordon Park around 7pm on Thursday when the was struck.

He was trapped under the vehicle for some time before being taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital with life-threatening head and leg injuries.
