Qld cops resuscitate man twice

A Queensland man has been resuscitated twice by Gold Coast police officers during a night out in Surfers Paradise.

Police were called to Cavill Avenue just after 10pm on Saturday after reports of the 36-year-old causing a disturbance, but when they arrived he had lost consciousness and stopped breathing.

The officers briefly revived him but he again stopped breathing and needed additional CPR, before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.
