A Queensland police officer has been stood down amid allegations he endangered motorists by dangerously driving a police car.
The 51-year-old male senior constable, from the road policing command, is the subject of a disciplinary investigation.
That investigation concerns allegations he drove a police vehicle in a manner likely to endanger other road users and provided false and misleading information, Queensland Police said in a statement on Monday.
