Qld cop pleads guilty to drink-driving

A Queensland police inspector stood down for drink-driving is back on the beat after pleading guilty.
Inspector John Bosnjak, 52, pleaded guilty, to drink-driving while off duty, at the Holland Park Magistrates Court on Thursday last week.
His licence was suspended for a month and he was fined $500 after pleading guilty to drink-driving, a Queensland police spokeswoman said.

Insp Bosnjak, the brother of police commissioner Katarina Carroll, is still the subject of disciplinary action from the police service.
He was stood down from official duty while the charge was dealt with.
