Qld cop fined $800 for using steroids

A central Queensland police constable caught using steroids has been fined after pleading guilty in court.

Troy Richard Pryczek, 30, admitted to possession of a dangerous drug during a hearing at Rockhampton Magistrates Court and was fined $800, but no conviction was recorded.

Pryczek and fellow constable Brett Anthony Cullerton, 35, were facing a slew of drug-related charges when they were on Wednesday morning hit with additional drug and misconduct charges.

Cullerton, who is accused of trafficking steroids, will return to the court on May 10.

The pair was before the court following a Crime and Corruption Commission investigation, which also saw a 27-year-old woman charged with several drug offences, including steroid trafficking.
