Qld cop breaches marine safety laws

A central Queensland police officer will face court after allegedly operating a ship unsafely while off-duty.
The 29-year-old constable has been been stood down from duty and has been charged with an offence under the Marine Safety Act, which relates to the safe operation of ships.
He will face the Rockhampton Magistrates Court on Thursday.
