Qld construction worker dies in heatwave

Authorities are investigating whether soaring temperatures contributed to the death of a construction worker on a rural property in Queensland's central west.
The 45-year-old died while working on the cattle property near Longreach on Monday morning, as a heatwave pushed temperatures to around 40C .
Workplace Health and Safety says it's investigating whether heat was a factor in the man's death.
