Qld chopper pilot walks away from crash

A pilot has walked away from a chopper crash near Toowoomba, west of Brisbane.
The pilot suffered only a minor ankle injury after his helicopter went down at Wellcamp about 6.30pm (AEST) on Thursday, the ambulance service said.
The man had already managed to pull himself from the wreckage when ambulance officers got to the scene on Drayton Wellcamp Road.
