Qld boys charged over attack on 12 yr old

Two boys have been charged after allegedly dragging a 12-year-old boy from a Gold Coast taxi, breaking his jaw and stealing his shoes.

The boys, also aged 12, were part of a group of five who allegedly carried out the assault at the Helensvale train station on Sunday evening.

The boy was treated at hospital for a fractured jaw, chipped tooth and grazing, while his alleged attackers have been charged with robbery, stealing and weapons offences.
