Qld bikie charged over hotel rampage

An alleged bikie has gone on a rampage at a Brisbane hotel, fighting with patrons and punching out glass windows and doors.

Police say the 29-year-old, who's allegedly linked to a criminal bikie gang, got into a fight with other patrons at the hotel at Forest Lake.

When security officers escorted him from the premises, he started punching at the glass windows and doors, and also hurled a bar stool through one of the hotel's windows.

Police from the Sunshine Coast District Criminal Motorcycle Gang Squad arrested the man on Wednesday, more than a month after the incident.

The man has been charged with wilful damage and being drunk and disorderly on licensed premises. He's due to front the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
