Qld appoints expands trial DV court

A second magistrate will be appointed to Queensland's trial domestic violence court.
Attorney-General Yvette D'Ath says the court will be expanded in Southport with more registry staff and duty lawyers to be appointed as well.
"We make sure we get this model right, we want to identify the best measures going forward to ensure we are providing support to all the parties and to provide a system that is fair and accessible to all Queenslanders," she said.
