Prisoner who fled hospital caught in Qld

A prisoner who escaped from police while being treated at a hospital in Queensland's south has been recaptured.

Christopher James Beck, 27, was in custody on drug charges when he fled from the Roma Hospital on Thursday.

Police said he was recaptured on Sunday, and is due to face the Roma Magistrates Court on Monday charged with escaping lawful custody, assaulting police and stealing.
