Police still searching for missing Qld boy

Police are still searching for an 11-year-old Brisbane boy who hasn't been seen since Tuesday afternoon.

The boy was last seen leaving an address on Jefferis Street in the inner-northern suburb of Virginia at approximately 3.30pm heading towards a train station but hasn't been seen since.

In a statement police said they are concerned for the boy's welfare with his behaviour being "out of character".

The boy is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 145cms tall with a solid build and short, light-brown hair.

When he was last seen the boy was wearing a black T-shirt, blue shorts and had a green scooter.

In an unrelated incident, a 12-year-old girl reported missing from the south-western Brisbane suburb of Ellen Grove on Friday has been located safe and well.
