Police probe blaze that gutted Qld house

Three adults have escaped a suspicious blaze that destroyed a house at Toowoomba, west of Brisbane.

Firefighters were called to the West Street home about 2am on Friday. Two women and a man who were at the property escaped without injury.

Police say the fire is suspicious and a crime scene has been established, but could not confirm reports a man was in custody.
