Police find drug bunker on Qld property

An underground bunker allegedly used to make ice has been uncovered on a property in Queensland's Wide Bay region.
Police searched the address on Thomas Rd at Curra on Friday morning, where they found a buried shipping container.
It had allegedly been used to produce methylamphetamine on several occasions.

Police also allegedly found a stash of illegal fireworks, glassware and chemicals used to make the drugs.
A 33-year-old man and 33-year-old woman will front the Gympie Magistrates Court on September 11, charged with a string of drugs and explosives offences.
