Plane escapes dramas at Qld airfield

A small plane has landed safely at a southeast Queensland airfield despite experiencing landing gear problems.

A number of emergency services units were on standby as the plane landed at Caboolture Airfield, north of Brisbane, just before 3pm.

The pilot was the only person on board and was not injured, a Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said.
