Petrol bomb thrown at Qld home

A 72-year-old woman has put out a fire with a garden hose after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at her house.

The petrol-filled glass bottle was chucked at her home on Tiwi Street in Bundall about 11pm on Sunday, police say, reportedly the third time in three months the house has been attacked after two drive-by shooting incidents late last year.

The woman living at the house was able to extinguish the fire with a garden hose and no one was injured in the attack.
