Perjury charge remains against Coast bikie
AAP
An alleged Gold Coast bikie has been told by a judge he has a case to answer after a perjury trial against him in March ended in a mistrial.
Judge Catherine Muir delivered her finding at Southport District Court on Friday after reviewing evidence against Peter Mauric, adjourning the matter until May 2 when it will be determined if a new trial will be ordered.
Mauric is accused of providing conflicting statements to the Crime and Corruption Commission and in a trial at the Southport Magistrates Court in relation to his involvement in the infamous Broadbeach bikie brawl in 2013.
