Pedestrian hit, killed by utility in Qld

A teenager has been hit by a car and killed while walking at Deception Bay, north of Brisbane.

Police say it appears the 18-year-old man was walking on Deception Bay Road about 6.30pm on Sunday when he was hit by the utility.

The Burpengary East man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
