Pedestrian hit by truck in southeast Qld

A 24-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a truck in southeast Queensland.
Police were called to the intersection of Russell and Blackstone streets in the suburb of Silkstone in Ipswich, west of Brisbane, about 5pm on Tuesday.
The pedestrian was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with head and other serious injuries.
