Passing car saves Qld woman from attacker

A passing car has saved a woman from an attacker who grabbed her on a lakeside pathway west of Brisbane.

The man grabbed the woman from behind while she was out walking in the Ipswich suburb of Springfield Lakes at 7pm on Monday.

But a passing car scared off the attacker, who released her and ran off. The woman suffered minor bruising.
