Palm Island assault victim dies

A man who was brutally attacked on Palm Island off Townsville has died in hospital.
The 40-year-old suffered head injuries including a fractured skull in the June 5 attack.
A 32-year-old man could face upgraded charges after earlier facing court accused of grievous bodily harm.
