One dead, another injured in Qld car crash

One person has died and another has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following a car crash south of Brisbane.

A car hit a power pole on Logan Road at Underwood just before 5pm on Monday, bringing down the pole and causing power disruptions in the area.

Queensland Ambulance said one person died at the scene, while another person was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
