Teens face court over stabbing death of 15-year-old in Brisbane
Two teenage boys have faced court charged with murder following the stabbing death of a 15-year-old boy in a car park at Redcliffe north of Brisbane.
The two 14-year-olds are tonight in custody after being charged on Saturday.
Police say three males confronted Angus Beaumont and a group of his friends in a car park on Anzac Avenue about 8.10pm on Friday.
The altercation escalated and the teen, from Clontarf, was stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Redcliffe Hospital where he later died.
Angus' parents, brothers and other relatives were today present in court.
A petition to have the accused killers tried as adults has attracted thousands of signatures.

Police have also released CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
In the video, a man wearing dark basketball shorts, a black hoodie and a baseball cap is seen walking along a footpath.
