A mum who pinned her daughter down while her boyfriend raped her claims she is the victim of a miscarriage of justice.

The woman whispered into the girl's ear that her partner wanted to have sex with her at a home in Rockhampton.

She ignored the victim's pleas for help and held her daughter down during the horrific attack, which took place the night before her 15th birthday in 2014.

The mother and partner, aged 36 and 24, were both convicted of two counts of rape and jailed for seven years each in April.

She has now claimed there was a conspiracy between the witnesses against her and he complained that there was no DNA or medical evidence in the case.

The pair, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, both lost their appeals against convictions.

The defendants also said that their sentences were excessive, which was dismissed by Queensland's Court of Appeal.

The appeal judges found that there had been an appalling betrayal of responsibility and that the dreadful conduct deserved a severe punishment.
