Motorcyclist killed in central Queensland

One motorcyclist has died and another has been hospitalised after they collided with a car at Kabra in central Queensland.

Police say a 61-year-old Rockhampton man died at the scene and a 58-year-old man was taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital with severe leg injuries after the car coming from the opposite direction collided with them at 3.40pm on Friday.

The car driver, a 26-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was also taken to Rockhampton Base Hospital for treatment.

A 44-year-old Cairns woman critically injured in a three-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway south of Innisfail on Thursday night has died in Cairns Base Hospital, police said on Friday night.
