Motorcyclist hurt in collision with ute

A motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a collision with a ute in Oxenford on the Gold Coast.
It is believed the ute was making a U-turn on the Old Pacific Highway about 3.30pm on Monday when the motorcycle collided with it.
The 32-year-old male rider was taken to hospital with serious neck and internal injuries. The 40-year-old male driver of the ute was uninjured.
