Motorcyclist dies in far north Qld crash

A motorcyclist has been killed in a serious crash north of Cairns.
The man came off his bike near Ellis Beach about 1.15pm and died at the scene, Queensland police said.
The Captain Cook Highway was blocked in both directions as the Forensic Crash Unit launched an investigation.
