Man dies in crash on Brisbane bridge

A man has died after his ute collided with a truck on Brisbane's Gateway Bridge.

The crash has caused major delays, with three southbound lanes closed as police investigate.

It appears the ute crashed into the back of the truck while travelling south on the bridge at Eagle Farm around 2pm on Wednesday.

Paramedics found the man dead inside the ute.

The truck driver was assessed but had no injuries.

The fatality comes after a 24-year-old motorcyclist died when his bike collided with another vehicle in Brisbane.

He died at the scene in Collingwood Park on Tuesday evening.
