Motorbike rider seriously injured after horrific crash in Queensland

A motorbike rider is in a serious condition after a horrific crash near the Gold Coast this morning.
Police said the motorcyclist was riding on the Pacific Motorway in Pimpama when he collided with the rear of a vehicle about 12.15am.
The 48-year-old man fell from the bike and was struck by another vehicle.

The Gold Coast man was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating the incident.
