Missing infant dies after being found unresponsive in water in Queensland

An infant has died after being pulled unresponsive from a lagoon in Queensland's Fraser Coast region.
The young boy was first reported missing on Saturday in Anzac Park in Maryborough.
A Queensland Police Spokesperson said the boy was found in unresponsive in water near Alice Street just before 5pm, yesterday.

CPR was performed by police and paramedics before he was transported to Maryborough Hospital where he was declared dead.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
