Miller not promised spot in Qld cabinet

Gaffe-prone former Police Minister Jo-Ann Miller has not been promised a return to Queensland's cabinet, the premier says.

Opposition MP Jarrod Bleijie on Tuesday asked Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk whether she had given Ms Miller an undertaking that she'll be returned to cabinet.

The question came amid reports the Bundamba MP was trying to claw her way back into the ministry after a string of controversies last year that forced her resignation.

"I have made no such undertaking," Ms Palaszczuk told parliament.
