Whale watchers are expected to flock to the Gold Coast on the weekend in an effort to spot white humpback whale Migaloo.
The popular humpback was seen in waters north of Newcastle on Friday and according to Sea World Whale Watch, he is expected to pass the Queensland border on Sunday.
"#MIGALOO HAS BEEN SPOTTED! He was seen down south this morning and we expect him on the Gold Coast in the next 3 days!," Sea World Whale Watch posted on Twitter on Friday afternoon.
