Man charged with murder after 42-year-old man's body found in Brisbane unit

Police have charged a 51-year-old Highgate Hill man after the body of a 42-year-old man was found in a unit block in inner Brisbane.

Police were called into a unit complex on Gladstone Road around 12.30am today where they located the man's body inside the home after his flatmate raised the alarm.

There are unconfirmed reports the victim was stabbed to death.

The 51-year-old man has been apprehended and charged with murder. 

Investigations are continuing.
