World road safety experts to gather in Qld

Experts from around the world will converge on the Gold Coast next week to discuss new ways to cut the road toll in Australia and overseas.
More than 600 road and transport safety experts will gather for the Australasian Road Safety Conference for three days from Wednesday.
A range of new research will be presented, including new examinations of key factors in cyclist road deaths, and how best to manage speed in areas where pedestrians might be at risk.
