Man turns up after swimming from cops

A man last seen diving into the ocean on the Sunshine Coast nearly two months ago to avoid police arrest has turned up in NSW.

Ricky Gardner handed himself in at a police station in northern NSW overnight.

He hadn't been seen since diving into Noosa's Main Beach in the early hours of January 9, sparking a massive air and land search.

He is being questioned by police.
