Man to face Qld court on rape charge

A man has been charged with raping a woman in Brisbane.

The woman, in her 30s, was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment after allegedly being attacked by the 55-year-old man at a house at Acacia Ridge south of the city.

The man, who is from Acacia Ridge, was arrested at the scene.

He will face Richlands Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with one count each of rape and grievous bodily harm.
