Man threatened with knife in Qld robbery

A supermarket attendant has been threatened with a knife and punched in the face during a robbery in Brisbane.

A man entered the store in Acacia Ridge on Tuesday afternoon and threatened a 43-year-old staff member with a knife while demanding cash from the register.

The employee was punched in the face before his alleged attacker fled the scene with cash.

The staff member has been treated for minor injuries.
