Man threatened with knife in Qld car heist

Police are hunting for a car jacker who threatened his victim with a knife south of Brisbane.

A man was sitting in a parked car at a shopping centre in the Logan suburb of Mount Warren Park on Thursday afternoon when the car jacker approached, produced the knife and ordered him to get out.

The victim complied and the offender fled in the black Kia Rio sedan. He remains on the run and the car is yet to be found.
