Man threatened with hammer, gun

A man threatened with a hammer and a handgun during a Logan home invasion has been sent to hospital with head, neck and rib injuries after being punched and kicked outside his house.

A 23-year-old man from Hemmant appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday over the alleged assault and police say they are looking for a second man accused of the Monday afternoon assault.

The 24-year-old alleged victim was taken to Logan Hospital after fleeing his attackers and calling police.
